Britannica International School provides a vibrant environment with a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom.
A child’s day at school is generally busy as he or she typically juggles lessons with a variety of activities such as practice in a music ensemble, a football match and learning lines for the school play. Good British education develops rounded and multi-skilled pupils.
Great importance is also given to developing a child’s conduct and behaviour. School rules are few but firm and apply to pupils and staff alike. They are based on the principle of respect and consideration for others. A positive and helpful demeanour is encouraged and rewarded.
We also encourage children from an early age to take responsibility for their community. Children contribute to decision-making in the school through the Pupil Council. Activities involving the wider community generally focus on developing a sense of responsibility for the common good.
The school runs a house system. Every child belongs to one of four houses. Within their houses pupils take positions of responsibility, compete against other houses in sport and music and work towards common goals in a range of areas.
