The sun was blazing, the bunting was strung and the tables were laid ready in an anticipation of young, eager children to arrive. EYFS celebrated in style yesterday at Britannica’s first ever Spring tea Party.

The event went off with a blast as the children paraded their homemade Spring hats and sang Spring songs to their parents. There was lots of buzz as children enjoyed a variety of activities with their parents from Bunny photos, decorating an egg to hook the duck.

Highlights were definitely doing Yoga in the sunshine, having their face painted but let’s not forget the fantastic balloon making.

But the pièce de résistance was the typically English Tea Party food where everyone delighted in sausage rolls, cream scones and let’s not forget a good cucumber sandwich.
