As we come to the end of a busy first term and complete our assessments across all year groups, the English department would like to say well done to our secondary students for their hard work and dedication throughout the course of the year. From Year Seven to A Level, we are seeing the results of a conscientious approach to learning reflected in the progress made across the English curriculum. It is our intention to shift the students' mindset away from being fixed on grades, instead focusing on what they do not yet know, as well as how to bridge any gaps in knowledge. We hope that everyone can enjoy a well-deserved break, full of reading for pleasure!
