It has been wonderful to welcome students back to school this week after our extended holiday. Everyone has returned refreshed and ready for an exciting and busy term packed with engaging learning opportunities. In our assemblies we have focused on motivation; considering what we want to achieve this term and year and what makes us motivated and importantly how we sustain this. The children have been consolidating their learning from last term and completing assessments or assignments that will be useful for teachers to inform planning and identifying further ways to support and challenge your child. We will also be beginning new topics across the curriculum including foci on geographical themes, extended writing and deepening scientific understanding through practical experiments. We look forward to sharing more of our learning with you in the coming weeks.
