Two Year IGCSE Programme
At Britannica International School, Shanghai, Key Stage 4 of the British curriculum is taught to students of age 14 to 16 years. This two-year course leads to external examinations at the end of Year 11 with the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGSCE).
Students follow a structured curriculum, combining compulsory core subjects with a rang of elective options. Typically, they study 6-8 subjects in their first year before refining their choices to align with future career goals.
With an average class size of just 10 students, we foster a supportive and personalised learning environment. This ensures individual attention which is critical during these formative academic years.
Beyond academics, we provide a balanced and enriching timetable designed to nurture both intellectual growth and personal development, shaping confident, well-rounded individuals.
