With a blink of an eye, we have come to the end of another academic year. It still seems like yesterday when we greeted the EYFS students with open arms and big smiles to join us for the 2019-2020 academic year. In August no one knew how this year would turn out with the unusual circumstances that have evolved in the world. However, our Britannica EYFS students have displayed maturity, resilience, and a great passion for learning through all that has happened.

It has been inspiring to have been part of the collaboration between staff, parents, and students to provide the excellent learning opportunities that have let our EYFS students grow. From the youngest Pre-Nursery child to the oldest Reception child, all our students have achieved above and beyond in a variety of skills from language, mathematics, personal social skills and much, much more. Some of every child’s learning achievements made have been big and some small. However, each of these learning growths have built a step in your child’s foundations for their future learning and will have a positive impact on their development. I know from the daily conversations I have with the EYFS teachers how proud they of every achievement each individual child has made this year.

All of this has been made possible by us having the support of our inclusive parent community, that has enabled your children to be able to grow from strength to strength, as you have empowered our teachers to provide our stimulating interactive environment where children thrive. A huge thank you to you all for your support throughout the year from the whole EYFS staff.

As we move forward into the Summer holidays and look forward to 2020-2021 academic year. I would like to wish our EYFS students and all their families a healthy, safe, and fun Summer.
