Physical Education in Primary has been off to a strong start this term. We are fully focused on improving in all areas of physicality by ensuring students know their goals and meet all teaching targets. This week we rewarded our February Sports Stars of the month during assembly. It is wonderful to see students grow throughout each teaching unit as well as the energy they bring to the PE lessons. The PE department has been working hard to prepare for the Spring Sports Day. Sports Days are one of the most enjoyable activities at school and contributes massively towards the British culture at our school. Thank you to all the children, parents, and teachers for your contribution towards our Spring Sports Day this week. The children had a wonderful time and as the PE department we could not ask for more. Our KS1 winners were the Blue Lions and in KS2 the Red Phoenix house won on the day. With the Summer term around the corner, we are looking forward to spending more time outside during lessons whilst improving the children’s physical as well as mental wellbeing.
