There is wonderful news from all the Spanish students as we came together to record a new Britannica anthem. This new Song is called ‘Ven a Britannica’ which translates: Come to Britannica, and it gives me great pleasure to finally reveal it to the world!

After weeks of hard work, students across the school participated in an exciting performance to show off their Spanish talent! The big day was last Friday 26th of May and after dedicated rehearsals, our talented singers showed their impressive abilities in Spanish on the big ‘stage’. This was made more difficult as it was not only a song but a dance routine too.

This is a lovely celebration of Spanish culture and music that our students can cherish. to celebrate and to dance to. It is the aim of the Spanish department that our students have the opportunity to join our wonderful Spanish community! Congratulations to all performers, as they all deserve to be recognised.

I regularly explain to my students ‘we cannot rest on our laurels’, we should build upon each of our successes. Next year we aim to improve on all of our accomplishments with our new new song: ‘Bajo el mismo sol’ (Under the same sun).
