This week, we enthusiastically celebrated Shakespeare Week with our Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Reception classes fully immersing themselves in the enchanting world of Shakespeare's stories. During the week, Pre-Nursery and Nursery embarked on an enchanting adventure through ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream.’ Through engaging storytelling sessions and interactive activities, children were introduced to the world of fairies and magical spells. Reception delved into the tale of ‘The Twelfth Night.’ This engaging play with its intriguing storyline, disguises, and themes of mistaken identities engrossed the children. Through role-playing, creative arts, and lively discussions, Reception brought the enchanting story to life, fostering their confidence and creativity along the way.

Today, the children showcased their hard work and talent at our very own Globe Theatre. With confidence and enthusiasm, they took the stage, bringing their characters to life through expressive gestures and animated voices; their performances were truly impressive. After the children enjoyed a special Shakespearean Banquet.

The week provided a valuable opportunity for our Early Year’s children to explore and appreciate Shakespeare's stories, encouraging creativity, imagination, and a love for literature and the performing arts.
