We concluded another productive term at Britannica with the most eagerly anticipated event of the year – Sports Day. Thursday’s annual competition was a resounding success, filled with energy, teamwork, and outstanding school spirit. Across every track and field event, our students demonstrated determination, resilience, and genuine camaraderie. From the sprint finishes to the relay handovers and the cheering from the sidelines, the atmosphere was electric. Congratulations to the Blue Lions, who roared to victory with an impressive overall points tally. Their teamwork and never-give-up attitude set a shining example for all. Equally, well done to all competitors – your effort and sportsmanship made the day memorable for everyone. Whether you claimed a medal or simply pushed yourself to a personal best, you made Britannica proud.

As the term draws to a close, we reflect with pride on the achievements, progress, and growth demonstrated by our students over the past months. Looking ahead, our IGCSE and A Level students will now enter the final crucial weeks of preparation. I encourage you to take this time to rest and recharge, while also beginning to refocus on the weeks ahead. Use the break wisely: review your notes in short bursts, but prioritise sleep and relaxation. Your teachers remain fully committed to supporting you through revision sessions, past paper practice, and one-to-one guidance when we return.

For now, I wish all members of our school community a safe, restful, and enjoyable holiday. I thank you for your continued support, and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
