Britannica Shanghai is proud to announce that our Year 12 and 13 students have achieved outstanding examination results. 97% of A Level entries achieved grades A*- C. This is a measure of the academic success and high standards achieved at Britannica International, Shanghai.

This year’s A Level results have been outstanding, with all Year 13 students passing all subjects and gaining entry to the university of their choice.

Britannica International is delighted to announce that 45% of all grades were A*- A, significantly above the UK national average. with all students achieving 100% A*- C grades in all subjects. Mathematics. Humanities, English and the Sciences continue to excel with 100% pass rate in all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and Mandarin results show 100% A* grades for all students.

Our Year 12 students also did exceptionally well, with the number of A grades increasing for the fifth consecutive year. Last year 32% of students achieved A grades, with 53% of this years cohort achieving A grades.

Our consistently excellent A level results represent a compelling testimony to the achievement of our students. Students come to Britannica for our strong British roots and truly personalised approach to learning. Our commitment to maintaining a low teacher to student ratio, with small class sizes, means we have the time to identify, celebrate and develop excellence in every child.

When receiving our student’s examination results, I immediately reflected on two of our school values, Excellence and Responsible.

I am delighted with such a strong set of A Level results that reflect the hard work, determination, personal responsibility and resilience of our students in the toughest of years; they have risen to the challenge set by our excellent teachers at Britannica International School.

These outstanding examination results firmly place our students amongst the highest achieving international schools and have equipped them with globally renowned qualifications as they begin the next stage of their education at university.
