It has truly been a pleasure to witness the enthusiasm as the children in Early Years have engrossed themselves in their learning. By immersing themselves in hands-on activities they have been able to absorb concepts and knowledge in a more meaningful way.
Pre-Nursery have been enjoying playing on the soft play in the indoor playground where they have been developing their climbing and jumping skills. Nursery listened to the story, ‘Dear Zoo’ this week. The children enjoyed guessing what the next animal might be and why it wouldn’t make a good pet! This inspired the children to paint some of their favourite Zoo animals. Reception worked on their Critical Thinking Skills this week whilst analysing Van Gogh’s, ‘A Starry Night,’ they painted their own version and shared their wonderful interpretations.
