At Britannica, we recognise the diversity of our students' backgrounds and offer a tailored range of Mandarin curricula to suit varying proficiency levels: our native programme, non-native programme, and advanced programme.

Recently, in our native Mandarin classes for Year 3 and Year 4 students, our native Chinese learners have been studying texts about captivating places across China. Through the engaging texts, our learners delve into the descriptions of different places. Beyond textual learning, they immerse themselves in the rich local cultures and food through hands-on, in-class activities, bringing their learning to life.

Meanwhile, in our non-native classes, students have been on an adventure exploring the zoo. They've enthusiastically learned about various animals and honed their communication skills by presenting to their Native Mandarin peers. This cross-class interaction not only fosters language development but also enhances their ability to communicate effectively.

For our Advanced Mandarin learners, the current topic revolves around ‘discovering the beauty in life’. Through reflective writing, they explore the beauty they encounter in people and things, enhancing their presentation and writing skills along the way.

At Britannica, learning Mandarin is not just about language acquisition; it's about cultural immersion, practical experiences, and real-world connections. We look forward to continuing our journey of exploration and discovery in Mandarin in the rest of the year, celebrating the richness of language and culture together.
