On Friday Britannica hosted a visit from the retired international England cricketer, Mike Gatting. He joined students for an assembly on the lessons of playing sport and then hosted a cricket masterclass with a group of students from Years 5 to 9.

The students heard about Mike Gatting’s professional career and gained valuable lessons about the importance of failure, teamwork, determination and resilience, as he shared stories from his past.
