The Early Years curriculum is strongly based around the concept of ‘play’. The great Albert Einstein quoted that ‘Play is the highest form of research’. On Thursday, EYFS parents joined Miss Amy Coulling, Deputy Head of Early Years, in a workshop about ‘The Importance of Play’ and how this works in and outside of the school setting. Sharing knowledge about education and how your child learns is important for us here at Britannica so we can work together to build strong foundations for your child’s learning. Thank you to all parents who joined Miss Coulling at the workshop and we hope you found it inspiring, interesting and most importantly informative about play in the Early Years.

Do keep your eye out for future workshops about different areas of learning in the Spring and Summer terms. If there is a topic about the Early Years that interests you do let us know as we are always open to ideas about workshops and key information parents would like to know about how children learn at school
