It has been yet another busy week full of academic and enrichment activities in Secondary.

Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 have completed their examinations and teachers have spoken to me about the mature, dedicated and positive attitudes students had. Well done to all involved!

Mr Bell delivered the first in a series of Educational Technology presentations this week with several parents in attendance. I will write to parents after the November break about the future presentations.

IGCSE and A Level examinations continue with some of our senior students deciding to come in to school during their holiday next week to continue their efforts.

Further developments have taken place for our brand new STEM Centre; 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics and sports science apparatus all being the focus of discussion this week. This is an exciting development for the school and I look forward to writing in more detail later in the term.

I hope you enjoy the Pumpkin Palooza pictures in this week’s newsletter. The event was a wonderful showcase of the community spirit at Britannica and I was delighted to see so many Secondary students and parents in attendance.

I would like to wish all Secondary students and their families a safe and enjoyable holiday and look forward to seeing you all return.

Vice Principal and Head of Secondary
