On Friday the 12th of November the students were taken to the Museum of Art Pudong to expand their understanding of art and give them the needed inspiration to create works of art for their examinations.
Here the students were taken through the exhibits, discussing the elements and principles of art present in the work. It was fortunate that many of the artists had shown the process of their creations, adding valuable exam content to the learning. The students were given the opportunity to share their knowledge and understanding across year groups while in a more in a more informal, social setting.
Next the students were taken to Xujiahui Park where they practiced photography and sketching, fed black swans and birds, took artistic videos and enjoyed the fresh air.
