Following from last week’s theme of ‘Responsibility’, this week some of our Primary students have been bestowed with important roles at school, including Student Council representatives, Student Wellbeing representatives and House Captains and Vice-Captains. This afternoon we held our first Student Council meeting for Years 1-9 of the year. It was wonderful to come together and discuss our pledge to the school, more about our school values and listen to some initial ideas that each other has. Also, in this morning’s assemblies the Primary House Captains and Vice-Captains were announced. All these student leadership roles are very heavily sought after, and it is a great responsibility to have as they ensure our school continues to thrive and flourish. Congratulations to all involved!

This week’s assembly focused on our fourth school value; Integrity. In Key Stage Two we thought about our favourite superheroes and how they show great integrity as they are honest and ensure they are doing the right thing even if no one is watching.

Lastly, I wish you and your families a relaxing and restful Golden Week and look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday 10th October.
