Sioned was born and raised in Pembrokeshire, Wales. She studied at Trinity College in Carmarthen, where she received a B.A. in Primary Education. After graduating, Sioned obtained her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and began her teaching career in schools in Cardiff, South Wales.

With a longstanding passion for travel, Sioned has enjoyed numerous overseas experiences, which led her to Britannica International School in Shanghai, where she has been teaching for the past five years. In total, she has over 14 years of teaching experience.

At Britannica, Sioned has taken on various roles, including After School Activities Coordinator and House Coordinator, before advancing to a senior leadership position. Throughout her career, Sioned has focused on nurturing young children within an effective learning environment, fostering a love of lifelong learning.
