Our school mission mascot Inclusive Iggy has had a busy week here at Britannica, as the whole school focus has been on anti-bullying. With this year’s theme We’re all a piece in a puzzle, and together, we’re united against bullying, all students from Pre-Nursery to 6th form have been learning about celebrating everyone’s uniqueness, working together collaboratively as a team and most importantlyuniting in the understanding of friendship and its importance.

We kick started the week with a sea of multi-colour and uniqueness through Odd Sock day. Here all students celebrated their individuality in an inclusive environment by wearing odd socks.

A grand total of RMB was raised which will go towards our charity fundraising total for the year.

Throughout all PSHE lessons, assemblies and form time students have had discussions around preventing bullying, how to promote inclusiveness and developed their understanding of being global citizens in the world.

To ensure we keep our inclusiveness promise as a whole school, each child designed an anti-bullying puzzle piece which will be joined together to create a whole school artwork. This collaborative artwork will be displaying in school for all to see and join our mascot Inclusive Iggy in continuously promoting our togetherness as one.

Rounding off the week there was no better way than to collaborate as Houses to play inclusive games of tug of war. This event promoted the coming together as one and sharing the experience of team games no matter what the skill!

Well done Britannica on being an inclusive environment for all!
