Britannica International School, Shanghai, has been swift in adapting to a remote E-Learning model as the school remains closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

In response to the challenge of not being able to physically teach their children, China is turning to virtual education as a solution. For Britannica, their students must stay at home and teachers from across the globe – including USA, New Zealand, and the UK – haven’t been able to return since the Chinese New Year holiday.

Recently in Year 7, students have been learning about the Djembe, a type of drum commonly used in West African music. Last week students were asked to create their own DIY djembe using simple materials.

We are absolutely thrilled with Carlson's efforts and would like to celebrate his achievements.
