Wow! What a wonderful week of Winter Concerts. It has been an absolute pleasure to be able to watch and enjoy the various class and group performances from across the school. A particular highlight of mine from each Primary concert was the final song; when all the children from the relevant year groups came to stage and sang together ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’. To me it was a fantastic embodiment of the collaboration within our school community and a great way to celebrate the end of a successful term. Collaboration was also demonstrated in the performance of ‘Ven A Cantar’ with students from across various year groups singing a jovial Christmas song in Spanish.

All students have worked hard and achieved so much in their learning this term and should be very proud of the progress they have made since August. Yesterday, you will have received your child’s school report; do please read through the report carefully and discuss with your child so that they are also aware of their achievements and next steps. We will also discuss this with the children at the start of next term to focus them on further achievements.

This week, students have completed their topics for the term and it was also a great opportunity for Year 1 to visit their friends in Year 2 and make their very own Big Machines together. Another example of collaboration and support in Britannica Primary!

On behalf of all the Primary staff, I wish you a safe and happy holiday!
