PE

Firstly, can I start by saying on behalf of Myself and the rest of the PE team we would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to those who managed to attend our Britannica Sports Day event last week. It was amazing to see so many of you back on our campus, showing both your support and encouragement to your children on their sports day.

With this being said, what a great term it has been for our Secondary students in PE, especially in the build up to our Sports Day event. Everyone in the PE department is super proud of what our secondary students have achieved this term in their PE lessons. Every year group, from Year 7 through to Year 13, have demonstrated excellent work ethic and have been working extremely hard in their lessons in order to improve and develop their skill set as well as get the best possible outcome within their sporting topics and it is with this hard work which allowed them to produce some outstanding performances on their Sports Day.

Now, regarding the Sports Day event the final House Competition results for the Secondary Sports Day are in. They have been counted, they have been verified, and I can happily confirm the following places and results:

1st = RED PHOENIX

2nd = GREEN DRAGONS

Joint 3rd = BLUE LIONS & YELLOW TIGERS

A huge congratulations to our RED PHOENIX cohort who walk away as the Sports Day House Competition winners. However, a huge well done to the rest of the houses as it was a very close competition to call in the end.

Overall, it has once again been a very busy term for our secondary students in PE and as always I look forward to seeing what further improvements are made in our final PE block of the year.

Well done once again secondary and keep up the excellent work.
