Primary assemblies this week focused on the achievements our students have made this year. Each and every child should be proud of the progress that he/she has made since the start of this year and I know that our teachers are very pleased with what their students have achieved; whether that be academically or socially. We took the opportunity to reflect on individual achievements as well as our favourite moments from the year – Winter Concerts, Sports Days, school trips, dress up days to name just a few!

The Key Stage Two assembly also featured our Year 6 celebrating their final year in Primary. It is a pleasure to see how mature and responsible they are and how much they are looking forward to starting the next part of their learning journey in Secondary next year.

It has been a wonderful year in Primary and I would like to extend my thanks to you, the parents, for your support and commitment to the school. We have enjoyed being able to invite you to school in the recent months to learn more about what we are doing and to share in the learning experiences with your children.

I would also like to thank the staff for their continued enthusiasm and dedication to their classes as they have planned and organised various engaging and exciting learning opportunities.

I wish everyone a very happy and safe Summer holidays and look forward to welcoming you and the children back to school in August.
