We had lots of spooky fun today as we dressed up in a wide variety of weird and wonderful costumes for Halloween and enjoyed many creative and exciting activities organized by our Sixth Form students. In yesterday’s assembly, Class 2B explained assembly the origin of Halloween and some of the different traditions around the world; some lucky students even had a chance to try apple bobbing, although they found out it was a lot harder than they had first thought! There were also beasts and strange mythical creatures to be seen during Class 4A’s assembly today as they shared with us their learning about Ancient Greece; we listened to the students’ fantastic descriptions of creatures including some descriptions of beasts imagined and created by the students.
