Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating World Book Day. It was truly a joy to witness the children’s enthusiasm and creativity as they embraced the magic of storytelling and literature. It was wonderful to see the children dressed as their favourite characters as they took part in the morning parade.

Throughout the week the children had the opportunity to visit the Book Fair and we welcomed Year 5 into the Early Years as they shared their favourite stories with the children in all classes.

Instilling a love of reading in the early years is of paramount importance. Books act as windows to new worlds, fostering language development, cognitive skills, and creativity. By immersing children into the enchanting world of storytelling, we nurture their imaginations, empathy, and a thirst for knowledge that will accompany them throughout their lives.

We hope to nurture and inspire the next generation of avid readers as we embark on a lifelong journey of exploration through the pages of books.
