It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back after the holiday. Our new learning journey, "The Great Outdoors," is off to an exciting start. Pre-Nursery immersed themselves in the story ‘We're Going on a Bear Hunt,’ engaging in sensory play and creating bear-themed paintings. Nursery read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar,’ discussing the caterpillar's food choices and its transformation into a butterfly. Reception focused on caption writing, reflecting on their holidays and the story of "The Tortoise and the Hare." They learned about trying their best and participating.

Yesterday the entire school participated in House Day which began with Tug of War, fostering friendly competition and team spirit. The children also collaborated within their houses to create unique and meaningful house shields, symbolising their unity and pride.

We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the children and encourage conversations at home about their experiences.

We look forward to continuing our learning in ‘The Great Outdoors’ next week.
