Today, Year 5 delivered a truly memorable graduation assembly for our parents, families, and friends, and we could not have been more excited to perform in front of such a packed theatre. From the moment the children took to the stage, it was clear how much confidence and pride they brought to the occasion.
As a cohort, the children stood strong on stage, worked collaboratively together, and performed with enthusiasm and teamwork throughout. They sang, danced, and spoke clearly in English, sharing their learning and achievements with energy and purpose.
A highlight of the assembly was the way Year 5 offered advice to the current Year 4 students. The children generously shared helpful tips and encouragement to support Year 4 as they look ahead to joining Year 5 next year. They also took time to reminisce about their experiences in primary school, especially their time in Year 5, recalling moments of growth, learning, and fun.
The children’s memories didn’t stop there. They also reflected on their fabulous trips this year, highlighting experiences that made their journey even more exciting and meaningful.
To bring the celebrations to a special close, we held our Tie Ceremony at the end of the event. Year 5 students received their secondary tie, ready for next year, marking an exciting step forward in their journey. Parents met the children with applause, and many tears were shed, filled with happiness, pride, and emotion.
This graduation assembly was a wonderful celebration of Year 5’s hard work, progress, and achievements. We are incredibly proud of every child for their confidence, dedication, and the way they represented themselves, their year group, and their school with such heart and maturity.
