On Thursday 24th September, we invited all our students and staff to come to school wearing their favourite denim clothes and their house t-shirt — to show our support for this worthy cause called Jeans for Genes.
Jeans for Genes is an annual charity campaign dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children and families affected by genetic disorders. Every year, thousands of schools, workplaces, and communities across the country come together to show their support by wearing denim.
Our School Council has organised a bake sale to help raise funds for the Jeans for Genes Charity. Students have been encouraged to contribute by bringing in homemade or store-bought baked goods and sweets to sell on the day. Whether it's cookies, cupcakes, brownies, or a bag of sweets — every donation counts!
All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to Bloodline, supporting families living with genetic conditions.
