BA (hons), QTS
Abbie was born and raised in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Winchester University with a degree in BA (hons) Primary Education with QTS. She is a returning teacher who previously taught Year 2 at Britannica for three years. She has been teaching for a total of eight years and has taught in a range of schools across the UK, more recently in London.
Throughout her career, Abbie has developed a wide range of teaching and leadership experience; she has experience supporting and coordinating year groups, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching and learning. She has previously led Year 2 and is currently the Year 3 lead at Britannica.
Abbie is delighted to join the Britannica school community once again and is passionate about supporting students to grow in confidence, achieve their full potential and develop a genuine love of learning. She is committed to creating a positive and encouraging classroom environment where every child feels supported and motivated to succeed. Through engaging and effective teaching practices, Abbie hopes to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
