MEd, BA, IBDP
With a passion for fostering linguistic bridges and promoting cultural understanding, I embarked on an academic journey focused on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I earned my BA from Huaqiao University and subsequently pursued my M.Ed. from Beijing International Studies University. This year, I attained the prestigious IBDP certification in language and literature teaching, further enhancing my expertise in educational methodologies.
Prior to joining Britannica, my teaching adventures led me to the vibrant classrooms of South Korea, where I ignited a passion for Mandarin among middle school students. Subsequently, my journey took me to the bustling metropolis of New York City, where I taught Mandarin and Chinese culture at a university level.
Now, in my seventh year at Britannica, in addition to my primary role as a Mandarin teacher, I have also served as a House Coordinator for the past two years. Throughout this fulfilling journey, I have been fortunate to collaborate with a diverse array of individuals, all united in our pursuit of excellence in student achievement and holistic development. As a proud member of the Britannica family, I am deeply dedicated to nurturing an inclusive and vibrant learning environment that not only sharpens linguistic proficiency but also fosters a profound appreciation for the beauty, depth, and global significance of Chinese culture.
