Paul was born and raised in East Yorkshire, England. He completed a Mathematics STEM conversion programme before undertaking his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
With over a decade of experience teaching mathematics, Paul brings extensive classroom and leadership experience to his role as Head of Mathematics. Before moving to Shanghai, he taught in East Yorkshire, where his responsibilities included Key Stage 5 Coordinator and Key Stage 3 Intervention Lead.
At Britannica International School Shanghai, Paul has held several leadership positions, including Exams Officer and Whole School Assessment Coordinator, before becoming Head of Mathematics. His classes have demonstrated strong progress in externally administered assessments.
